Director : Yongyoot

"Yongyoot, who hails from Lampang, the very province from where the katoey volleyball team originated. He spent two years researching and writing the script before Tai Entertainment approved the project with a budget of Bt 10 million.

He also talked with the real players of the volleyball team, but Yongyoot says the movie is not a portrayal of their lives. The director even chose heterosexual men to play katoey roles though he says that was not his first intention.

But he also says that the film is not just focused on entertaining. "It’s a funny story, but it also has a message. I hope the audience will not just brush it off as just another silly katoey movie and simply avoid it."

Yongyoot admits that his entry into the movie world was made easy after the way was paved by other famous advertising directors like Nonzee Nimitutr and Pen-ek Rattanarueang. " — The Nation Weekend — March 3, 2000
