The
Uninvited
SYNOPSIS
Jung-Won is an interior decorator, his marriage near at hand. One
evening, he falls deeply asleep in the subway on his way home. He
barely gets himself up at the last station and narrowly jumps off
the train. As he comes round, he sees the train leaving with two
young girls who were sitting asleep next to him. When he comes back
home, he finds that his wife-to-be has bought them a new dining
table.
The next day at work, Jung-Won hears on the radio that two young
girls were found poisoned dead in the subway. When he got back home,
he gets shocked to see the two dead girls sitting at his new dining
table. For days, he suffers from the continuous showing of the two
ghost girls. Then, one day, he bumps into Yun at a psychiatrist’s
office where he was working on the renovation. She has been receiving
treatment after her friend killed both of their children 1 year
ago and has been suffering from lethargy since. Jung-Won happens
to find her in lethargic state, so unavoidably takes her to his
apartment until she wakes up. When she woke up and was about to
leave, surprisingly she sees the apparition of the dead children
as well. Desperate to be free from the apparitions, Jung-Won appeals
Yun to help him. She refuses, but Jung-Won doesn’t give up and incessantly
pleads her.
Finally, he succeeds in persuading her. But he doesn’t know what
consequences might follow after he discovers the secret with the
help of Yun...
